Restoring God’s Dreams

I was blessed to start this year by attending the Abolition Summit hosted by Exodus Cry in Grandview, Missouri. I honestly didn’t know what to expect but I was hoping that God would speak to me and breathe life into my worn out spirit.  He heard my prayers because my time there was as refreshing as ice-cold water on a hot and sticky summer day in the Philippines. :)

God used the speakers, times of worship and my time at the International House of Prayer to speak to me about what it looks like to restore His dreams. For every life that is yet to be rescued from the pits of hell and set free to live life as God ordained it to be is one of God’s dreams that is waiting to cross the threshold of reality. I was pleasantly surprised when the director of Exodus Cry introduced a young lady named Nicole. Nicole was one of the first girls to go through the Restoration program with Exodus Cry. She was nervous about sharing her story with us because it was her first time sharing in public but she knew she had to do it because God had revealed it to her in a dream. I was blown away to see her boldness to speak out and declare God’s goodness and His love for her. She spoke with such confidence because she knows her Savior and she kept saying how she is no longer scared to live life because perfect Love casts out all fear. I couldn’t help but cry as I watched the director of the Restoration program record her as she shared and saw her beaming smile. I thought to myself, “That’s going to be me one day!”

Here is a video of Hosanna Wong’s spoken word about the issue of human trafficking. She personally knows how Jesus is powerful enough to transform generations because her dad used to be a pimp before he reached out to Jesus. Be moved as you watch God speak through her.
