In August the pre-teens from the Sonshine Center worked very
hard to prepare masterpieces for a showcasing night. They got to choose to join
an art, dance, or singing group. I was the art teacher. When the showcasing
event finally came, I was ecstatic to display my students’ artwork and looking
forward to see what the other pre-teens had prepared. I glanced at the their
faces throughout the night and their countenance reflected passion and
confidence. It was then that I was
reminded of one of my strongest passions- to see people discover their passion
and realize that they were created for a purpose.
